Joe, this is really hard for me to say goodbye like this. Especially since I am out of state and cannot come and say goodbye in person. You have influenced me in many ways and have taught me how to appreciate hardcore and punk music. In return, I brought you to see Miss Saigon. You were my first boyfriend, first love, and best friend. Even after our relationship ended, we remained good friends. We have talked about many things from the past and future, and I honestly never thought about having to say goodbye like this. I will always have my memories of you. Rest in Peace, Joe. Joe, I miss you terribly. Seeing you everyday for the past two years and now, not being able to see you ever again is killing me. You were like my older brother. You protected me, you listened to me and were such a positive influence in my life. My heart goes out to all your family, friends and also your Nana who you talked about often and loved very much. Joe i always remembered you from when i was little as one of my funny cousins, the cousin that made me laugh, the cousin that was laid back and just wanted to have fun with his life. you were a cousin that i looked up to. i always looked forward to seeing you andera and maria whenever we would come to your parents house to visit. i always looked up to you. life will never be the same without you and nothing will change that. we always hope for more time to be with the ones we love but we need to sometimes let go, not give up. but let go. i will never ever forget you joe. i will not remember you on the day of your death, but the day of your birth. i will never forget you.

Joe and I were childhood friends we lost touch as adults, but I have very fond memories of joe. I remember skate boarding in Whitman on Dave's half pipe and I fell and dislocated my elbow Joey ran to every house on the street till he found someone to call me a Ambulance but that's the type of person he was even at a young age he would do anything for anyone Especially is family and friends Joey was a great guy and friend and will be truly missed.

It has been awhile since I saw Joe, but he was always such a kind, generous and loving friend. From our days hanging out at Reeds Pond in High School. Joe, You loved your sisters So Much that it made me smile whenever Maria talked about you. Having you attend our wedding in Washington this past year made me so proud as a brother-in-law...seeing you smile and so proud and happy for Maria. You were so supportive of her and I loved you like a brother. From our deep conversations about history and science, to you trying to teach me how to properly throw the Karate Kid crane kick. Joe, because of you, I was introduced to punk rock and hardcore music when I was 16 years old. I remember going to see your band Black List and my mind was blown. I did not know you very well but I attribute you to my love of this music which has resulted in me marrying a man nicknamed "Punk Rock Andy". This has resulted in a beautiful child and another one on the way. Thank you Joe... All of my love to you and your family in this time of sadness.

I was so sadden and shock of the sad news..Joe was a great kid and a great friend to my kids..We will miss him but will never forget him..You are in my prayers and hope you all can remain strong..He is another angel looking down upon us..My memory that brings a smile now, is the night of the sleep over at your house and the kids made the beds ups to look like they were still in them and snuck out of the house in the middle of the night and we got the calls to pick them up.There was never a dull moment back then 🙂 RIP Joe and God Bless

Joe, I remember when we were kids sitting in Maria's room listening to you play music in your room. I actually could've heard you from 2 streets over. You played drums in your basement and at the studios. As teenagers most of us were thinking of what we wanted to be. You didn't have to. You already knew. You were an artist.

Joe was an excellent friend who never judged my inconsistancies, and never made any of his friends feel second best...i will miss him forever.

Joe was such an amazing person who clearly touched so many lives. I was very fortunate to have known him for roughly 5 years. His passing has been really tough to swallow, but I find comfort and strength in all of the people who cared for him. His family, friends, and aquaintances show just how special Joe was and how strong his presence was in his time on earth. I hope the picture i posted shows how Joe truly felt about everyone he's ever known in his meaningful life. You will be severely missed. My deepest apologies to the entire Corrieri family. <3

I am a friend of Maria and Dereck Robinson, and I met Joe at their wedding last Summer. My prayers go out to the entire Corrieri family for their loss. God Bless.

It was spring 2009 and I was at Dunkin Donuts in Whitman waiting in the Parking lot. Joe appeared in his front yard across the street. I yeld hello to him and waived and he responded with a waive. I crossed the street to shake my brothers hand and hug him like he always hugged me when we saw each other. A hand shake was never enough, he always grabbed me and gave me the biggest hug. We had grown appart like friends do living life. Joe always let me know how much I meant to him. That day he had ask me to go to breakfast with him, sadly I said I couldnt. Through the years I had always wish I had taken him up on breakfast. Little did I know I was going to have breakfast with him when 2 weeks ago I was at Anita Maries and he showed up. He sat next to me and we reminicsed and talked about hanging out. I was so thank full for that day. Joe will be deeply missed. His smile is forever burned in my thoughts. I can only hope to be the friend and brother he showed me.

Dear Family, I am a coworker of Lee's and a friend of Mike and Lee's. Your son obviously touched many many lives in such a positive and loving way. Knew Joe as a friend of Franks just to say "Hi" in passing. Didn't have to really know him to tell he was a very special guy. I believe God needed him in heaven.
