Joseph A. Tomolillo, Jr. 72 of Bridgewater died on December 9, 2015 at the Brockton Hospital. He was born in Boston, son of the late Joseph A. Tomolillo, Sr. and Gwendolyn (Antel)Tomolillo and was raised and educated in the city.

He was a former employee of General Dynamics at the Fore River Shipyard and has for the last 20 years owned and operated the Middleboro Auction Co. A former Rockland resident he has made his home in Bridgewater for the past 10 years.

Joe was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Middleboro Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his longtime friend Fay McCabe of Bridgewater. He was the step father of Tina Wilson of Middleboro, Wayne Wilson of TX, Frank Wilson and Russell Wilson both of PA. Brother of Carl Tomolillo of Rockland, Richard Tomolillo of Chicopee, Joyce Kelty of Chicopee and the late Karen Silva. Also surviving are his step grandchildren, Lianna and Matthew Bernier. He will be laid to rest at 12:00Noon on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rockland friends and relatives are invited to attend. A "Life Celebration" will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Middleboro Knights of Columbus, 262 W Grove St, Middleboro, MA 02346.
