Joseph A. "Joe" Bouchard of West Greenwich, R.I., former life-long resident of Rockland, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, after a brief illness at the age of 65. Joe was a 1971 Graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School and Graduated in 1975 from Bentley University. He was the son of the late Oscar and Margaret (Morrisey) Bouchard.

Beloved father of Leah and her fiancé Gerald of East Bridgewater, Ryan and his wife Sarah of Hingham, his Brother Daniel and his wife Karen of Burlington, VT, his Sister In-Law Doris Bergeron of Rockland. Joe also leaves his former wife Peggy, of 42 years, and his girlfriend Ashley of West Greenwich, R.I., and his 3 grandchildren Riley, Colby, and Hazel. Joe also has left many wonderful cousins.

Joe was the controller for Brockton Area Transit until he started his own business in 1986. He enjoyed Golf. He was on the Zoning Board of Appeals in Rockland and a former member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He mostly enjoyed the peace of sitting on his back porch

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Joe's life at a memorial visitation on Tuesday May 1, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
