Actually, I grew up near Tony and his wife, kids, and pigeons. I babysat the kids a few times. My memory is of when I was about 17 and a new driver. I was going a little too fast, and Tony pulled me over. He recognized my last name and gave me a friendly warning. It may seem silly, but I appreciated that! Thanks Tony! RIP! Thoughts and prayers to his family!

To the DiRenzo family my heart felt sorrow for the loss of Tony. Years ago Tony worked at the ARCO gas station ( Now N&R`s) on East Water St. right across from were I grew up, we became friends then and Tony was like a big brother to me back then and kept me out of trouble. DEAR GINNY, MICHAEL AND STEPHEN HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT TONY AND JUST FEEL SO TERRIBLE ABOUT HIS PASSING. OUT HEARTH, THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE THREE OF YOU. TONY WAS NOT ONLY A GREAT PERSON BUT A WONDERFUL NEIGHBOR. HOW WELL I REMEMBER HOW HE WATCHED OVER MY PARENTS WHEN THEY WERE IN THEIR ELDER YEARS AND HOW HE AND MY DAD USED TO "GAB" OVER THE FENCE-TALKING OVER WHATEVER THE SUBJECT OF THE DAY WAS (YOU ALSO GINNY) AND THINGS IN GENERAL. MY APOLOGIES FOR THIS EMAIL BUT CONNIE AND I ARE IN MAINE ON VACATION AND NOT ABLE TO PAY OUR RESPECTS IN PERSON. WILL HOPEFULLY TALK WITH YOU UPON OUR RETURN. (ONE LAST THOUGHT, GINNY MAKE SURE TONY HAS "THE GOLF CLUB". ) LOVE TO ALL OF YOU, lARRY, CONNIE, BRIAN AND MARK PAGLIA
