I was so sad to hear about Sully's passing this past week when I ran into some old Worcester friends here on Cape Cod. It's been year's since I have seen Sully but I have a lot of wonderful teenage memories of him and the gang from Quinsig Village. Sully was the best man at my wedding to Jim Mahoney. It's clear from his video tribute he created a wonderful life with his beautiful wife and children. His smile is the same.... My deepest sympathy to his family.

I remember Jackie as a wonderful man. We had many great times growing up together in the early 70?s with Jeannie Majerowski, Jimmy Mahoney, Kenny Bensen and Linda Nystrom. Back then; we called him Jackie or Sully. I still think of him whenever I meet someone else who has retained a wealth of sports knowledge or when I hear Paul Harvey say :?Good Day?. I remember when his brother Kevin was a small child, Jackie loved to baby-sit and show him off. He called Kevin his little ?pal?. He had great love and pride for his parents and all his siblings. From the moving tribute video, it looks like Jackie built a beautiful life with his lovely family. He was a true and kind man and must have been a great husband and father. ?Sully?s? wife and children must have meant the world to him and the tributes show how much he meant to them. It is very sad he passed away. Heaven is now a little richer.

I moved away from Quinsig Village quite some time ago so it's been a long time since I saw "Sully" but I have a lot of good memories - Cub Scouts, hanging out at Greenwood Park to name a few. He always struck me as someone who truly enjoyed himself in whatever he chose to do - a very positive and friendly person to all that he met. My sincere sympathy to his family.

It is sad when the good memories of a childhood friend only surface when a loss occurs. I had only seen Jack once or twice over the last 40 years but the friendship never ended. He was always fun to be around and a great guy to know. My sympathies and prayers are with you and your family. An old team mate from the Village, Ken

Geri and Jackie's boys, Your dad has been inspiration to me and his cousins our whole lives. We knew him through sports mostly. There were Sunday visits to his backyard, Greenwood Park, to play basketball, baseball, football or whatever season it was. He always, always did more with what God gave him than all the rest of us combined. He never gave an inch and he never asked for anything except a fair game. The only handicap he had was that he would routinely get stuck playing on the same team as his cousin Michael. But, he never complained or asked us to be easy on them. We loved him then, we love him now and we'll miss him. We are sure his spirit lives on in you both. Our prayers are with you.
