John "Jay” Pyrcz Jr (39) of Rockland MA passed away on June 24, 2025, surrounded by family and friends after succumbing to injuries sustained in a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred the week prior.

Jay was born to Sandra Nickerson and John Pyrcz Sr inFalmouth Massachusetts. He spent his childhood in many placeseventually graduating from Milton High School in 2003. Jay had many passions in life from basketball and boxing to motorcycles and muscle cars. He was a talented DJ, entertainer, and always the life of the party. In 2020 Jay open the doors to his autobody and repair shop, Collision Craftsmen in Abington Massachusetts where he used his talents to support and serve his community. Whether it was lending a helping hand, staying late at the shop, or simply showing up when someone needed support - he would give his all to everyone. Jay was the true living version of “work hard, play hard”.

Jay was a devoted father to his 3-year-old son and best friend Zayne Pyrcz and a loving partner to Arianna Nicholson whom he adored. He was also a cherished brother to Ashley Pyrcz, Crystal Pyrcz, James “JC” Hill, Christopher Pyrcz and his wife Sam, as well as Larissa Cook and her husband Jason. He was a beloved grandson to Charles Nickerson “Pa”, Joseph Burke, John O’Keeffe, and Wilma O’Keeffe. Jay is survived by his grandmother Patricia Buckjune, Uncle Paul Pyrcz, and Aunt Deborah Ramsden. Jay was a devoted uncle to Aubrey, Autum, Chris, Brooke, Mason, and Jaxson. Jay is also survived by thecountless friends that have become family over the years, who will remember him for his generosity, humor, and unwavering loyalty.

Jay’s presence was larger than life, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. He will be remembered not just for the life he lived, but for the love he gave — fiercely, freely, and without reservation.

To honor Jay’s memory, services will be held at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland, on Tuesday July 1,2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will also be held at Holy Family Church in Rockland on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at 9 a.m.
