Obituary For John "Jack" Sherman

John F. "Jack" Sherman, Jr., 60 of Whitman, died on March 20, 2017 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Jack was born on July 16, 1956 in Chelsea. He was raised and educated in Rockland and was a graduate of the Rockland High School class of 1975. Mr. Sherman was the son of the late Geraldine Sherman Lincoln, John Sherman and his wife Patricia Sherman of Pembroke and stepson of Carlton Lincoln of Rockland. Jack was the brother of Terry Fortuna of FL, Scott Sherman of FL, Dawn McDonald of PA, James Sherman of Rockland and Robin Garland of Abington. His many nieces and nephews will dearly miss him. For 20 years Jack worked as a pressman for the ProPrint printing company in Boston. He was an avid golfer and a big Boston sports fan. Jack enjoyed spending time with his Penny Press Seek & Find puzzles. The family welcomes family and friends to celebrate Jack's life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street in Rockland. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
