John E. Fleming, of Rockland, May 14, 2006 Age 90. Husband of Laura V. (Athridge) Fleming. Father of Charles L. Fillis of Braintree, Laura V. Travaglione of Stoneham, Loretta A. Goudy of Rockland, John J. Fleming of Braintree, Richard Fleming of Holden and June Fleming of Holbrook. Brother of the late Andrew Fleming. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, May 18th at 11:30 AM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. John died at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. He was born in Scotland and emigrated to the United States at age 7. He was raised and educated in Dorchester and had made his home in Braintree and Quincy before moving to Rockland in 1996. Mr. Fleming retired in 1988 after a 30 year career as an engineer with Boston Edison Company in South Boston. While living in Quincy, Mr. Fleming was a member of the St. Ann's Bowling League.
