I grew up across from the camp and it is my favorite memory. To this day, any chance I get, I come down to Hanson just to take my dogs for walks. I loved seeing everything and feeling peace. Jack's smiling face and good nature and friendly attitude is always a part of those memories for me. Next time I go for one of my walks, Jack will be ever present, waving hello, saying "good to see ya. How's things been?" Gail, kids, he will be sorely missed but anytime you want to be close, just take a walk and feel him everywhere. Tho Rick and I are able to be there, please know that our hearts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Our deepest condolences. God Bless. RIP Jack Rick and Lee (Strait) Bryant

Here's to you Uncle Jack, Everytime I drive through Hanson I think of Camp Kiwanee, but there is face that stands out when you think of Camp Kiwanee and that is you Uncle Jack. The family parties throughout the years at Camp Kiwanee brought us all together. Christmas time was always exciting as a kid. You knew Santa Claus was going to show up at the family Christmas party while all the adults played gift swap and got tipsy. Good times we had and you are the face of those good times Uncle Jack. You and I shared many conversations of hunting, current military affairs and sports. You inspired all of us in many ways. Perseverence and the ability to adapt and overcome to lifes greatest challenges is one that sticks out for me. You lived your life to it's fullest and with a smile. It is now up to our families to adapt and overcome to this challenge that has been put before us. We will celebrate your life Uncle Jack and we will do it with a smile. Our family has see some tough times, but we always manage to fall in sh*t and come smelling out like roses. That is what I believe. Take care Uncle Jack we love you and miss you. Say hi Nana, Grampa and the gang. Heres to you Uncle Jack.

Our most sincere and heartfelt condolensces to you all. Gail, my first thought when I heard the sad news was a memory of the two of you dancing at our wedding. May your memories bring you all comfort during this time and always.

Jack's passion for our Lord Jesus will stay with me always. He gave so much of himself to everyone and we have all been made better by knowing Jack and Gail. He is such an inspiration and he will be missed. Jack, I saw a praying mantis yesterday and I know that he was there to remind me of how you prayed always, setting up altars to God. I will honor you always. Robin Muise

Dear Gail & Family, I was fortunate to have a chance meeting with Jack recently as he was out for a walk along the Path along the lake. Even though I hadn't seen him in quite awhile, the conversation was vintage Jack, and he talked very upbeat about his health, the camp and his future. I will treasure that last memory of him, as I do all of our experiences at the camp over the years, and Marjie and I offer our heartfelt condolences, and prayers to you during this difficult time period. He is now in God's hands. Sincerely, Bruce & Marjie Young

  • 05/25/2021

To my second dad, I will never forget how gracious, kind and compassionate you were towards me and my family during our "tough time" and how much love and fun you showed Aidan whenever he slept over to be with Grandpa. Both Aidan and I will miss calling you in the AM to discuss what Sid was about that day. We will miss our greeting of What's up?? and calling everything unbelievable. Who is going to tell me to behave now? Does that mean I don't have too? Jack, you meant so much to Aidan and I and I will miss you more than words can say...peace, love, and blessings always and forever. We love you.

  • 05/25/2021

So many things in life are connected. Myself and my twin sister being on the same day and close to the same time as your son. Actually working with him at Litecontrol. My mother passing less than a week before you and having her party at the camp. We go through life with a blind eye, when we should be looking all around to see its wonder. You, Jack, lived with your eyes open. The short time spent with you and learning from you was great. So as I end here good luck over there and we will remember you here. Thank you Jack.

  • 05/25/2021
