John A. King, of Rockland, May 12, 2007 Age 63. Husband of the late Elaine L. (Sutter) King. Father of Michael J. King of Rockland and Frederick E. King of Quincy. Brother of Maureen Haley of Whitman , Joseph King of Ireland and Annie Merrigan of Ireland. A Funeral Service was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street Rockland Friday, May 18th at 11:00 AM. Calling Hours were on Thursday, May 17th from 6-9 PM. John died Saturday in the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was born in Galway City Ireland son of the late Annie (Cooke) and Michael J. King. John was raised and educated in Ireland and came to the United States in his early twenties. He had made his home in Rockland since 1981. He spent most of his working years as a truck driver and last worked for G.P. Hale in Boston.
