Obituary For Joann M. Rubino

Joann Marie Rubino, 62 of Holbrook. Died on January 10, 2019 at Brockton Hospital. She was born on April 24, 1956 in Boston to the late Dominic and Josephine Rubino. Joann was raised and educated in Rockland.

Joann worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a loving aunt and sister. Joann enjoyed spending time caring for animals and spending time with the children in her family. She was an extra terrestrial enthusiast and devout Catholic.

She was the loving sister of Patricia (Rubino) Craig of Brockton, Eileen (Rubino) Badger of Easton, William Rubino of ME, Mary (Rubino) Putney of Kingston and Theresa (Rubino) Coffee of Brockton. Joann will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Monday January 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January, 15 2019 at Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.

    To the Rubino Family, I am so sorry for the loss of Joann. I remember her from the Mid-70's in Rockland, as a down to earth and decent person. My condolences to all.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Joann in my first job out of high school in 1974 at the Red Fox Tavern. We had so much fun together at and after work there. It was THE place in Rockland back in the seventies. Joann was free spirit and such a funny person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.
