Obituary For Jeffrey M Foresta

Jeffrey Marc Foresta, 46, of Rockland, Massachusetts sadly left us on May 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer 2 ½ years ago. Jeff was brave and a fighter; he never gave up and no matter how sick he was. He was kind and selfless and never made it about him. Even till his last days he worried about everyone else.

Jeff was born on the 4th of July; he was always a firecracker. Jeff was very independent and a hard worker who would do anything for anyone. He always took care of his family. Jeff grew up in Rockland and attended the Rockland public schools. After graduation, he pursued a career in the restaurant business as he had a passion for traveling and could find a job wherever he went. He also lived in many different places, New York, San Francisco, Florida, P-Town, and Las Vegas. No matter where Jeff lived, he was always loved and made many friends along the way. No one could tell a story better than Jeff and he was always the life of the party. The number one thing in life that was important to him was his family. He loved his nieces and nephews as his own kids.

Jeff is survived by his parents Tom and Debbie Foresta also from Rockland, his brother Tom and wife Kristen Foresta, from Duxbury, his sister Angela and husband Billy Consalvo from Bridgewater and his nieces and nephews Thomas, Sophia and Teddy Foresta and Will and Evelyn Consalvo and lastly his maternal grandmother Evelyn Climo and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved dearly.

Jeff’s family would like to thank the South Shore Hospital and their staff for everything they did for him.

Services will be held at Magoun Biggins Funeral Home on Union Street in Rockland on Thursday, May 23rd from 5-7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 24th, at Holy Family Church on Union Street in Rockland at 9:00 am.

My sincere condolences to everyone in the Foresta family. Jeff often expressed his unconditional love for you all. I met Jeff only 4 years ago. He always had a smile, a funny story and an uncanny sense of humor. That is what instantly made us friends. May he find eternal peace as he will always have a special place in my heart. Sincerely, Kim Griffin or as Jeff would say "oh the boss" with his eyes roll, and his amazing smile. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again❤️
