Jeannette (Bedard) Canale 83 passed away on May 18, 2016 at her home in Hanson after a period of failing health surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Fall River and raised in Rockland daughter of the late Wilfred and Celia Bedard.

Jeannette retired many years ago from Armstrong Corporation in Braintree and enjoyed 18 years of retirement in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Wife of the late Joseph J. Canale, Sr. She is survived by her children Judy Little and her husband Brad of Pembroke, Michele Tedeschi of Marshfield, Denise Levy and her husband Marc of FL, Joseph Canale, Jr., and his wife, Helen of Hanson, Stephen Canale and his wife Kathy of Brockton. She was the sister of Diane Cadorette and her husband Dennis of FL, Vivian Miller and Ron of Rockland and Bobby Bedard of FL. Loving grandmother of Kellie Spaulding, Julie Wheeling, Christina Hamilton, Danielle Canale, Ashley Canale and Joseph Canale, III. Also, loving great grandmother of Joshua, Amanda, Jake, Jenna, Damyn, Anthony, Izabella, Logan and Lucy.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and particularly with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all their friends. She shared her warmth and hospitality during their many visits to Florida.

Her family is especially grateful for the loving care that was provided to her from her granddaughter, Danielle Canale and good friend Valerie Pires.

The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street, Rockland on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Dr. Rockland, MA 02370.
