Obituary For Jean Marie Qualter
Jean Marie Qualter, 69, of Hanson died on Monday, January 31, 2017 after a period of failing health. Jean was born in Boston, Daughter of Louis and Geneva (Stewart) Carpenter. She was raised and educated in Boston graduating from Girl's High School in 1965.
Jean was a parishioner of Holy Family Church in Rockland, where she was formerly a member of The Mother's Club. She enjoyed knitting, and spending time with her family.
Jean was the Wife of Timothy Qualter of Hanson. Mother of Maureen Whitman of Pembroke, Catherine Qualter of Hanson, John Qualter of FL, and Brenda Baxter of Whitman. Sister of Kenneth Carpenter of TX, and the late Louis Carpenter. Also survived by 9 Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The Qualter Family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Jean's life on Monday February 6, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM, and 7:00-9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in The Holy Family Church in Rockland on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow in The Holy Family Cemetery. I cannot express my sorrow with the passing of Jean, What a lovely women and friend, there was never a time that I could not make her laugh. Jean will leave this world knowing that "she did good" raising Tim and the kids I could not have more proud when asked to serve as your best man, and that's when friendship grew stronger.
