Obituary For Jean Maloney

It is with great sadness the family of Jean Marcia (White) Maloney announces her passing, peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at the age of 80.

Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Russell L. White and Phyllis A. Picard. She is the loving wife of 61 years to Lawrence E. Maloney. Jean will forever be lovingly remembered by her children Deborah L. (Maloney) Lucas and husband Dana R. Lucas, Michelle A. (Maloney) Barry and John L. Maloney and his wife Donna F. Maloney. Jean is survived by her sisters Joyce (White) Barry and Beverly (White) Miller. Forever will be remembered as “Nana” by Brett, Brenden, Caitlyn, Shannon, Tyler, Kevin, Casey, Kylee and one great-granddaughter, Kira. Jean will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Jean enjoyed being with her family, going to Nantasket Beach, annual family vacations to “Seaside” on Cape Cod, and many adventures to Foxwoods Casino. You will be deeply missed by everyone and you will always and forever be in our hearts.

The Maloney Family is eternally grateful to Pat Roche Hospice House in Hingham for all their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Pat Roche Hospice House or the Dana-Farber Cancer-Institute.

The family invites friends and loved ones to the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland on Tuesday, June 22nd from 4-7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd at St. Bridget’s Church in Abington at 9:00 a.m. A celebration of life will be held in her honor at The Abington Ale House, following her funeral mass.
