I worked at the state board of retirement with Jean for many years. She is a fine lady and so much fun to be with. We also saw each other after retirement at the Rockland senior center. I kidded her a lot because when ever I saw her playing cards most of the money seemed to be in front of her. Tom - I have fond memories of seeing you two in church and chatting when we got a chance. She was loved by many of us and will be missed so much.

So sorry for your loss. Had many a lunch time Trivial Pursuit games with Jean at the Retirement Board. Jean was a joy to be with, quick to laugh, and a wonderful lady.

I was so saddened to hear of Jean's passing. I have many wonderful memories from when we all lived on Rill Street together. I'll always remember her laugh and sense of humor. She was a great friend to my mom, who always considered her more of a sister than a cousin!

I was just 18 when I started working at the Treasury with Jean. She was the one I would go to if I had a question and she always answered with her beautiful smile. Jean and I fast became friends. A few years later, I left that job and whenever I was in Boston during the week, would stop in the see my former coworkers, especially Jean. After I started a family, I didn't have much chance to visit the office and lost contact with Jean. When she moved to Rockland, we ran into each other (both were wondering "is that her?") and renewed our friendship. We often met at breakfast in our favorite restaurant. I moved out of state and whenever in Rockland went to the restaurant with hopes (usually successful) of seeing Jean. She was a wonderful person, always a joy to be around. She will be missed. My sincere condolences to her family.
