Obituary For Janice Poore

Whitman, MA- Janice "Jan" Poore passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Signature-Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
She was born in Boston, MA on April 22,1956 the daughter of Charles and Mary (McEvoy) Theall.
She grew up in Abington, MA and graduated from Abington High school. She married Ronald "Ron" Poore on October 3, 1975.
They moved between Whitman and Abington before settling in their forever home in Whitman in 1986.
Janice worked multiple jobs throughout her life while raising a family before settling into a single full-time job in July of 1992.

She loved her friends and family fiercely. She was the glue that kept our family strong and unbreakable. Janice loved spending time with friends and family, especially during holidays. She loved spoiling and spending time with her granddaughters.

She is predeceased by her parents. Janice is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald "Ron" Poore of Whitman, MA, children, Matthew Poore and his wife Joanna of Plainville, MA, Michelle Dexter and her husband Bob of Hanson, MA, and former daughter-in-law Mikaelyn Poore of Easton, MA; three granddaughters, Leah, Abigail, and Madelyn; four sisters, Beverley Bates of Zanesville, OH, Pauline Linsley of Casa Grande, AZ, Anita Johnson of Brockton, MA, Constance Theall of East Bridgewater, MA; one brother Charles Theall of Grafton, NH; and many nieces, nephews and beloved family members.
Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home located at 135 Union Street Rockland, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or take the time to fully appreciate your loved ones and have a glass of wine in honor of our mother.

Not a day would go by where she didn't mention how much she loves her grandchildren or looking forward to a family event. Everything she did she handled with pride. She will be missed by all
