Janet Hadlock, 83 currently from East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2020 at South Shore Hospital. Born in Malden, MA, the daughter of the late Gordon Sprague and Viola Shannon Sprague. She was raised in Quincy where she graduated from North Quincy high school. She also earned an Associate degree from Fisher Junior College in Boston.

Janet was the beloved wife of Ralph Hadlock for 63 years. The lived in Hanover, MA for 56 years where they raised their two daughters. She is survived by her daughters Lynne and husband Steve Richardson and Deborah and husband Michael Tait of Hanover. Five grandchildren, Kimberly Sharpe and husband Dennis from Whitman, Jennifer Richardson, Michael Richardson and wife Erin, Melissa Tait of Hanover. Christine Allen and husband Dana of Hanson. Also, great grandmother of four, Alexis, Maisie, Matthew and Elijah.

Janet loved to travel, camp and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed spending time with family and the many friends she made over the years. Other interests include painting, garden club and doing genealogy. She especially loved her cat, Checkers who brought her great joy and comfort.
