Obituary For Jane E Finn
Jane (Feeney) Finn, 70, of Bridgewater, formerly of Hanson, Braintree and South Boston, died on December 28, 2018 surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She was born in South Boston, daughter of the late Francis and Helen Morash Feeney.
Mrs. Finn was raised and educated in South Boston, graduating from South Boston High School in 1965. Jane worked for many years in the customer service department of Carey Transportation.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Thomas "Pat" Finn of Bridgewater, and by her sons Patrick Finn and his wife Erin of Franklin, Boston Police Officers Thomas Finn and his wife Claire of Wrentham, and Brendon Finn and his wife Tara of Norwell. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Maeve, Abigail, Connor, Nora, Cormick, and the late Tommy Finn. Jane was predeceased by her brother Francis Feeney and her sister Eileen Hennessey. Mrs. Finn is survived by her aunt Evelyn Morash, sister-in-law Kathy Feeney, brother-in-law Dan Hennessey, and by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The Finn family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Jane's life at The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland on Sunday January 6, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in The Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jane's name may be made to My Brother's Keeper, PO Box 338, Easton, MA 02356 or The Joseph (Dodo) Nee Foundation, 54 Cedar Grove Street, Dorchester, MA 02124.
