Our thoughts and Prayers are with all the Family. Jimmy was always joking and Loved to make people laugh. He never gave up on anything he set out to do. He was happiest when involved with sports and the Community will surly miss him. We are all devestated with your sudden departure, for our friendship ended too soon. Rest in Peace Jim. Jay, Timmy, Ryan and Sean: It is so hard to find the words to say. Such a great man has been taken from us. It was just on July 11th, we sat with him, laughed and talked about the "good ole days", little did we know it would be our last conversation. Now he is with Mom and happy and content to be there. Don't ever let their memory fade away. Keep thinking about the good times and the happy times, share them with the grandchildren so they will know how much they are truly loved by the grandparents that just couldn't be here anymore. Twinkle twinkle little stars your Mom and Dad's are the brightest by far! Just look to the heavens for them! Know that we are here for all of you, if you need us. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With love....Bill and Kathie Durfee

Dad, I have truly lost one of my best friends and this world has lost a GREAT man! You were a fighter to the end, overcoming health obstacles time and time again. Your will and determination are something I hope to carry on in your legacy. You were so supportive in anything we did whether it was school, sports or anything. You worked hard every day and made sure we had what we needed and learned the value of being a man. We will continue to make you proud each and every day. You will be deeply missed but you will never be forgotten. You are now with Mom who you loved and missed so much. I love you so much Dad!!!

Jim was a good friend and will be missed around the rinks of the south shore, the time and energy he put into Yankee Conference Youth Hockey for all of the south shore towns is admirable. Hockey lost a great friend and he will be missed around the rinks. Jim made sure the kids had a place to play and made sure they had fun. Durfee boys your dad did a lot for the kids in youth hockey and he left us to soon. A Great Man! God Bless Dan Dailey Past President Hanover Youth Hockey

So... I just read through all the messages... Reading the "love sent" words is overwhelmingly calming for me but I do know that no mear words will take away the feeling of sorrow...Thats 1 battle everyone has to fight on their own. Just know that your all loved and will never be alone on this earth with the amount of people that feel that way towards you... Gone way to soon and Truly missed by all who had the honner to have known him. R.I.P. My Friend <3
