Obituary For James N. Panagos

James N. Panagos, of Weymouth, June 30, 2007 Age 60. Father of Jamie Panagos of CO. Beloved brother of John J. Panagos of FL, Karen Darcy of Weymouth, Diane Keenan of Weymouth, Elaine Smith of VT and Marilyn Panagos of Whitman. James was Uncle and Great Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 6th at 11:00 AM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. Calling hours took place on Thursday, July 5th from 5-8 PM. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc PO Box 1131 Fairfax, VA 22038-1131 James died Saturday in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton after a brief illness. He was born in Cambridge son of the late Helen (Anestis) and James Panagos. Jimmy was raised and educated in Braintree graduating from Braintree High School in 1965. He had been living in Weymouth for 5 years and had spent the previous 25 years living in Quincy. He was the former president and owner of Northeast Forklift Service in Boston for 15 years retiring in 2006 due to his illness. Jimmy loved to travel and had gone to Greece over 15 times to visit his family. He always thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to attending auto shows with his friends. He had a life long interest in antique autos, most especially the Model A Ford.

    I knew about you from my father's narrations and suddenly 30 years ago, I saw in front of me a man like my twin brother. Since then I always was filling your great interest and love for us. I missed you for many years now and I will miss you for ever. Your cousin from your greek family, John.
