James E. Manning Sr. (79) of Rockland, died on September 4, 2019 in The South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. James was the Husband of Irene Manning (Crowley) of Hanover. Father of Marie LaMonica and her Husband David Priestly, Joseph LaMonica, Linda Cartwright and her Husband The Late Donald Cartwright, Nancy Lamonica-Smith, Janice Manning, and James Manning Jr. and his Wife Michelle. Brother of the late Lorraine Pendleton, Margaret Manning, Marie Manning, Karen Manning-Coogan and her Husband Steve.

James was a loving Papa to many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Jim worked for many years as a Book Binder for Bay State Bindery.

The Manning family invites friends and loved ones to a Memorial Service in celebration of James' life on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM in The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland MA 02370.
