Obituary For James J. McLaughlin

James McLaughlin of Rockland, 84, loving husband of Barbara Dunn for 63 years. Father of Diane McDonald of Stoughton and her partner Joseph Machado, Dennis and his wife Barbara of Whitman, Dawn of Rockland, James Jr. and his wife Susan of Marshfield, and June Quinn and her husband Robert of Quincy. He is survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. James was the brother of Daniel of Rockland and Gerald of Foxboro. He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas, John, Eugene and his sister Mary.

Mr. McLaughlin was the owner of the former Mac's Auto Seat Covers of Quincy and then of Weymouth.

The McLaughlin family would like to invite family and friends to join them as they celebrate his life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street, Rockland on Thursday February 25, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

The family family requests that donations in his memory be made St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 313 Washington St #310, Newton, MA 02458.
