Passed away on September 23, 2019 in Hingham.

Jackie was born on October 12, 1931 in Wallingford, Connecticut to Eric Pearson and Helen Zamobri.

She was the loving mother of the late Robert Glass Vance VII. She is survived by her dedicated son Eric Vance of Whitman, MA. and his wife Beth, her grandchildren Alison McSharry of Hanson and Alexander Vance of Whitman and her adored great grandson James McSharry. She is also fondly remembered by her six neices and nephews and many dear friends.

After graduation from the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing in 1952, she worked as a registered nurse before attaining a successful career as a model in Boston and New York City. Jackie was a talented singer who performed in numerous musical theatre productions and the Boston Symphony Orchestra chorus.

Jackie was an avid dog lover who had a deep attachment to her succession of beloved poodles. She was a die-hard Red Sox fan. As a world traveller, Jackie visited all four corners of the earth and even explored the Titanic with Dr. Robert Ballard.

She was a lady of impeccable taste who always loved the finer things in life.

She touched many lives and will be sadly missed by all.

A private Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
