Obituary For Irene G. Boudrot

Irene G. (Kelly) Boudrot, 91, of Rockland died on June 9, 2017 at LifeCare of West Bridgewater. Born in Boston to Thomas and Helena (Sullivan) Kelly, Irene was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain.

She worked for many years as a book-keeper, but most of all she was a loving mother who enjoyed music,gardening, and singing in the Holy Family Church Choir. An avid reader and bingo player, she had anenormous love for animals and was a proud donor to the MSPCA and Native American Relief Fund. Irene was also a board member for the Rockland Housing Authority.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard B. Boudrot, she was the devoted mother to Kelly Boudrot and partner Athan Mantalos of Whitman. She leaves behind hersisters Marie Mahoney of Idaho, Rita Dion of Stoughton, Theresa Donnelly of Rockland and the late Peggy Petreyko. She will be dearly missed by her niece Andrea Dion-Purdy of Attleboro and many other nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Irene's life at a Funeral Mass on Friday June 23, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Rockland. For more information please visit www.magounbiggins.com

    Kelly - So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I love her and will miss her greatly. Wish we all could have spent more hours together, but I have great memories from childhood. Just remember that thoughts of her bring smiles to many people's lips. Take care of yourself, cousin. If you find yourself out in this part of the country, please check in!

    I wish I had known she passed! I would have wanted to pay my respects. I loved Irene , she's such a huge part of my youth. She was a wonderful lady, and I am sure she will be sadly missed.
