Obituary For Ida M. Thomas

Ida M.(Mastrodomenico) Thomas, 86 of Lighthouse Point Florida formerly of Rockland, died on November 9, 2007 in the North Broward Hospital. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Costello) Mastrodomenico, she was raised and educated in Rockland graduating from Rockland High School in 1938. She lived in California for many years and has made her home in Florida since 2001. While in California she was an avid volunteer at the John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek and was a member of the Newcomers Club there as well. She is survived by her husband, George L. Thomas of Lighthouse Point and her sisters Eleanor L. Walls of Rockland and Grace E. Cibotti of Fl. She was the sister of the late Mary and John Mastrodomenico. Also surviving her are several nieces and nephews. A Funeral was held from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Tuesday, November 13th at 8:15 AM. A Funeral Mass followed in Holy Family Church at 9:00 AM. Calling hours were on Monday, November 12th from 4-7 PM. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery.

    Been searching for info about Ida for a few years and just discovered that Ida has passed..... She was a great friend and person while I lived in Ca and we kept in touch every Christmas with updates on our lives......then, nothing from her. ...I am so sorry to hear of her passing,I cared for Ida very much...........May GOD bless her , I know that she is with HIM>>.......

    Its been a year know since your passing. It's hard still to believe you are gone. I miss you all the time. I still wait every sunday for the phone to ring. You helped me with understanding and helped me come to conclusions of what the family, world and in general what has been doled out. You were my rock and my sounding board.     It's hard to believe 10 years have passed, we still miss you Aunt Ida. I appreciate the time spent you with me and your sharing of your hear, kindness and advice. While you are in the presence of your entire family and God, you are not forgotten.

    Hi Aunt Ida it is 2020 I miss our talks and your love you have to Eddie and I along with Joe,Mario and Felicia. Not a day goes by that you are in our hearts and fond memories we shared with you and Uncle George. Both of you were as close as parents can come for Ellen and I. I really miss you and your words of wisdom in my life today I know you are all up above watching us all and one day will be together again. Love You Always, Susan.
