Helga W Nicholson, 97, of Rockland MA, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025. Helga was the daughter of the late Arno and Clara Wicklein of Wildenheid, Germany. Helga was born in 1927 in Wildenheid, Germany. She met her beloved husband, Richard E Nicholson, in 1947 when he was stationedas an Army Officer in Wildenheid during World War II. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Richard E Nicholson; her son, Karl W Nicholson and his wife, Linda Nicholson; and her grandson, Jeffrey Nicholson. Her surviving family will forever remember and cherish her as their Oma. In loving memory of Helga. She was a truly wonderful person – warm-hearted, kind, and full of goodness. My mother especially always cherished the times when her Aunt Helga visited Germany. These shared memories will remain with us forever, never to be forgotten. My deepest condolences go to Richard J. Nicholson and his wife Carla, as well as to all family members. May the memory of Helga bring comfort and provide strength in these difficult times. Jennifer Hellmuth from Germany.

Our deepest sympathies to Helgas family. She has been a wonderful neighbor of ours for 37 years. She loved the neighborhood children and let them sled on her hill in the backyard. She was the matriarch of the neighborhood. We will miss her dearly.
