Obituary For Helen J. Wright

Helen J. (Stankiewicz) Wright, of Barnstable, formerly of Rockland passed away peacefully and very gracefully at her home on Tuesday morning January 29, 2013. She has gone to join her later husband of 32 years, Joseph A. Wright in eternal rest.

By her side at her moment of passing and throughout her entire brave fight with illness was her loving son Glenn A. Wright of Rockland.

Helen was born on January 6, 1932 in Hanover, MA to Alexander and Nellie (Lemish) Stankiewicz. She was raised and educated in Rockland and went on to graduate from Nursing School in 1954. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in the operating room of South Shore Hospital.

She is survived by her only child Glenn and his wife Janina (Bonfiglio) Wright of Rockland, 3 beautiful and doting granddaughters Vanessa Ann Wright, Sunni Maria Wright and Alexandra Dominique Wright. Her only surviving sibling, Dorothy Curtis of Florida and a large extended group of family and friends. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Sunday February 3, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. Rockland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday February 4, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

    We are left with wonderful memories of Friday night get-to-gethers at the Nagles when we were neighbors on Meridian Way. Great fun and much laughter. Helen will be missed by so many. Rest in peace. Walt and Barb
