Helen Claire Callahan, 77 of Brockton. Died at her home on November 2, 2018. She was born on December 10, 1940 in Boston to the late Joseph and Helen (Noonan) Callahan. Helen was raised and educated in Canada.

Helen worked as a hospital nurses aide and clerk for Quincy Hospital for many years. Later in life, Helen attended Massasoit Community College and graduated with an Associates degree. She especially loved animals. Helen was known to take in and care for stray cats. One of her favorite things to do was feed the squirrels. Helen enjoyed decorating her home and spending days enjoying the simple things in life.

She was the loving sister of Joseph and his wife Carol Lee Callahan of Rockland and Marilyn and her husband Dino Cervigni of Arizona. Helen will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Monday November 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
