Harry Nava, Nava 95 of Hanover, died while in the loving care of the staff at Cardigan Nursing Home in Scituate on November 3, 2007. Born in Cambridge Harry grew up on the family dairy farm in Kingston, MA. He worked as a maintenance welder for Ocean Spray Cranberry Canners from 1963-1941 where he met Helen Stasiluk. Harry was a call fireman out of South Hanover's Engine Co. #5, a member of Phoenix Lodge, AF&AM in Hanover and the Whitman United Methodist Church. His wife of 53 years, Helen (Stasiluk) Nava pre-deceased him, he is survived by his daughter Arlene Marchant and her husband Roger of Marshfield Hills, his sister Delia Ferreira and her husband Joseph of Kingston and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Katherine Cappella, Mary Cushman, Charles, Angelo, George and Fred Nava. A Family Funeral Service was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. Calling hours were on Monday, November 5th from 4-7 PM at the funeral home . Burial followed in Hanover Center Cemetery. Arlene, I knew Harry through Ellen and Ralph and enjoyed all the "Harry" stories through out the years. Ellen use to worry about him so much. I'm so glad they had each other. Harry got his wish.... and now he is happy with Helen and all there friends. I just loved your mother. She was so nice to me when I'd see her in town. Be well Arlene.. and know we are thinking of you. Donna and Clark Jossleyn
