I am so glad that I had the opportunity to see Rainer recently after being out of touch for many years. Our chance meeting was if we had never lost touch at all. Rainer was part of a wonderful group of brothers who spent so much time together throughout our younger years in Rockland. You will be missed my friend and very much remembered by us all. May peace be with you and your family.

I cant believe the day is here to say goodbye to one of the most Amazing men I have had the privilege to know. My Uncle Rainer was not just a veteran, not just a mechanic, not just a construction worker. He was a man that loved with all his heart. He would do anything for any one. He loved family and wanted to be apart of his family and be present for them. He gave the best hugs with a kiss on the cheek because he knew life was short. It gives me such comfort and peace to know that his spirit lives on. He is up in heaven watching over me and my family. He was so proud of all of us, and I am so proud to have him as an Uncle. RIP Uncle Rainer I love you to the moon and back and I will never ever forget the times we shared...
