Gloria P. Goodspeed, 93 of Abington died on January 6, 2015 at the Southwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwell,MA. She was born in Somerville daughter of the late Amos and Grace (Poinsett) Adams. And was raised and educated in Weymouth,MA. As a wife, homemaker, mother, and nana, her family was her deepest joy. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Abington for many years, and also served on the Women's Fellowship. Gloria is survived by her children, Charles Goodspeed and his wife Denise of Middleboro, Dana Goodspeed and his wife Beth of Abington, and Cheryl Curran and her husband Thomas of Abington. Sister and life long companion of Shirley Tedeschi of Abington and the late Elizabeth Walsh of Weymouth. Grandmother of Tammy Goodspeed of Abington, Derrick Goodspeed of Taunton, Jason Curran of Plymouth, Erin Curran Trottier of Marshfield, Michael Curran of Abington, and Katie Curran of Quincy. Great Grandmother of, Samantha Goodspeed of Pembroke, Devri Goodspeed of Middleboro, Sean Goodspeed of Holbrook, Jayme Curran of Plymouth, Ava Curran of Plymouth, London Trottier of Marshfield, Emma Trottier of Marshfield, Courtney Curran Gundry of Claremont, and Mason Austin of Whitman. Gloria's Family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Monday, January 12th from 11:00-12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow visitation at 12:00. Services will be followed by cremation.
