Obituary For Gloria E. Chisholm

Gloria Elaine (Haywood) Chisholm, age 63, of Rockland, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2023, after a battle with cancer.

Gloria was as tough as they come, but also had the purest of hearts. Her children and her grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments and brought her so much happiness throughout her life.

Gloria was a graduate of Rockland High School class of 1977 before attending college at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She was a lifelong waitress at many different establishments throughout the south shore.

Gloria was the longtime lover and best friend of Roy Muller Sr and a beloved mother to her children Angela Chisholm, Michelle Muller and Roy Muller Jr. She is survived by her spouse Roy Muller Sr of Rockland, her daughter Angela Chisholm of Brockton, her daughter Michelle Muller and her spouse David Faticanti of Quincy, and her son Roy Muller and his wife Kaycee Muller of Rockland. A grandmother of seven; Nicholas, Alexis, Sophia, Angelina, Vinny, Nadia, and Jacob - whom she will love forever.

Gloria was one of seven daughters from her late parents Charles and Angelina Haywood. She was a loving aunt to many and is survived by all six of her sisters; Deborah Kosenen and her late husband Benny, Roseanne and her husband Marty Cunningham, Jeanne and her husband Richard Steele, Karen and her husband Larry Corcoran, Angela and her husband Joseph Gillis, and Theresa and her husband Frankie Imbruglia. She was the former wife of the late Billy Chisholm.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to pay their respects on Monday June 19, 2023 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. Rockland from 5:00PM-7:00PM. A funeral mass celebrating Gloria’s life will be held on June 20, 2023 at 9:00 AM at the Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street, Rockland. Burial will be private.

My awesome beautiful Sister is now an angel in heaven snd with God. Her pain and suffering is over!! She fought until the very end and believe me Gloria was a fighter. A very strong woman and she moved mountains with her strength. Missing her so so much as all of her sisters are. Gloria was special to all her sisters. She is now an angel in heaven with all our loved ones that have passed. Her spirit and her laughter and her funny personality will live on forever. I love her so so much. My Glo. There are fortunately so many amazing memories with Gloria. A favorite would be just talking with her about life. She was like a second mother to me. She gave me the best advice, always routed me on, was always an amazing generous friend to me. Gloria had an infectious laugh and amazing sense of humor, and she could always turn my mood around. I will forever cherish all of our amazing memories together, and I'm so blessed to have them.
