Wow, I heard about your passing 3 days after it happened, and I haven't stopped thinking about you, (and crying, and you know I'm not a cryer) and everything you are/were to this world and all of those you touched. I'm so sad you were robbed of time, but I'm selfish I've had you since first grade. So many others didn't have you as long as I did. I remember our excitement for your dad to come read to our class, being fast friends bc we were both new kids (and I was first and PUMPED to show you around lol), how we laughed bc we could exchange looks and know exactly what each other was thinking. BJ, I know we had plans that will never happen now, but I promise I'm gonna have a drink for you at Santarpios, and your memory I will carry with me forever. I hope someday I can be 1/10th of who you were. xox

Sending my condolences and so much love to Liza, Molly and Jack. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I only met Jerry once when I worked with Liza. But he seemed like a wonderful man and it was clear how much Liza loved him and how wonderful they were together. ❤️

He often talked about his children in class. You could tell he loved his wife and children so much. He loved his students and I enjoyed working with him .He just had a nice calm demeanor about him and would just put you at ease. I can see him now passing out "starburst" candy when students participated in class. It was an honor to work with him. My deepest condolences to his wife and family.

It has been an honor to work with Jerry over the years at Charlestown High School. Jerry had a natural way of making his students and coworkers laugh and feel comfortable. Jerry's hard work and commitment to his students will always be remembered but his true passion was being a loving father and husband, our thoughts and prayers are with the Wellman Family Brian- CHS
