George H. Peterson, Jr., 92, of Rockland, MA, died peacefully on January 25, 2025, at home.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori A. Peterson of Rockland, MA. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise C. Peterson (Mocerino) and son, George J. Peterson.

Born in 1932 in New London, Connecticut, George was the son of George H. Peterson, Sr. and Loretta G. Peterson (Connerney). He was raised in New London CT, Brockton and Quincy. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1950.

George served with honor in the U. S. Army 82nd Airborne Division from 1950 to 1953.

He was employed as an automobile mechanic for many years.
