Geneva H. (Mains) Umbrianna, 67 of Weymouth formerly a longtime Rockland resident died on August 31, 2014 while being cared for by her family at the home of her daughter. She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Lendell and Barbara (Ross) Mains and was raised and educated in Rockland.

Mrs. Umbrianna had been a longtime employee of Sigma Instrument Co. in Braintree. She had made her home in Maine for several years before moving to Weymouth in October of 2013 due to her illness.

Wife of Joseph A. Umbrianna, she is also survived by three daughters, Dawn M. Freeman and her husband Charles of Weymouth, Lauren J. Umbrianna of E. Bridgewater and Tammy L. Umbrianna of Hanson. She was the sister of Donald Mains of Florida. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Thursday September 4, 2014 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland from 5-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11 am in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St. Rockland. Cremation will follow.
