I ran into a neighbor of Freddie's the other day from Hanson who asked me if I knew Freddie. "Of course I do!" Ha passed on the sad news of Freddie's passing. My condolences, although late, are heartfelt and sincere. Freddie and I worked together at CPD at Boston Whaler. We were good friends. I was straight out of college and Freddie, although not knowing it, was a patient, caring mentor of mine. I learned a lot from him as a 22 yo "kid". Freddie managed a highly skilled work force that always turned out high quality product to the most discerning of clients. Freddie got "s$&#" done! What a great man. I'm sure he's missed a thought of daily by his friends and family.

Mr Damon was a kind and friendly neighbor to me and my family for many years. I grew up across the street from him on west water street and have fond memories of his big smile and handshake and how proud he was of his great back yard. I only learned of Fred's passing yesterday. I worked with Fred for 17 years at Boston Whaler and always found him to be a person of integrity, high energy and loyalty. And good humor, too.
