Obituary For Frederick T. Climo

Frederick T. Climo, Jr. 88 of Weymouth, formerly of Rockland died on June 27, 2017 at the Care One Nursing Facility in Weymouth. He was born in Boston on December 7, 1928 to the late Frederick T. Climo, Sr. and Helen (Albano) Climo. He was raised and educated in Dorchester and later made his home in Rockland before moving to Weymouth in 1979.

Fred was a talented businessman in the metal business owning several companies including FTC Co. in E. Bridgewater which his son Pat continues to operate. He was an avid boater and fisherman and he owned a 38 foot Hatteras boat named "My Way" based out of Scituate.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn A. (Guarino) Climo and his children, Deborah A. Foresta and her husband Thomas of Rockland, Ellen D. Edwards of Rockland, Frederick T. Climo, III and his wife Elizabeth of Bridgewater and Patrick E. Climo and his FiancÃ© Stephanie Hladky of Marshfield. He was predeceased by his son Robert P. Climo. Also surviving are his brother Edward Climo of Texas, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family welcomes family and friends to celebrate his life on Sunday July 2, 2017 from 4:00 PM â€“ 7:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street in Rockland. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday July 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
