Uncle Fred, I will miss you terribly. I always thought of you as a father when my dad left. You will be in my thoughts and prayers everyday. I always remember when I was thinking about going into the Nat'l Guards way back when and you started to call Private Annie. Your nickname for me always stuck between us. I Love You and will miss you. Annie A.K.A (Annie Flop) XXXOOO

Condolences to Dawn and surviving family. Knew Fred at Beantown trolley. Irony we both joined USMC in summer of 1958. When Fred said "I loved the Corps", I kept my mouth shut. I remember saying to my friends at Paris Island "47 monthes and 25 days to go ". He was a good guy , sorry he never got past this last trial.
