Obituary For Frank X. Messere, Jr.

Frank Messere, 65, of Rockland, beloved husband of Laurie (Prusik) Messere for 37 years, passed away on April 11, 2023.

Frank was born in Randolph to Priscilla (Connors) Olson & the late Frank Messere, Sr. He is survived by his siblings, Richard Messere, Donna Rapchan, & Michael Raleigh.

After graduating from Randolph High, Frank attended Blue Hills Regional to pursue a career in Auto Body. He later attended Butera School of Art for Sign Lettering, where he taught for a short while.

Frank was a gifted artist, specializing in Custom Painting and Sign Lettering. He excelled in Airbrushing & Gold Leaf, which was all done by hand.

Franks passion extended to fast moving modes of transportation. "The faster the better". Frank always owned at least one high performance vehicle, which he would repair & beautify.

Frank & Laurie enjoyed going to car shows and races, where his detailed work was often on display. Their love for excitement was not limited to the land, but to the seas in high performance boats.

Frank and Laurie shared their love for Fine Cuisine and practiced their Culinary Creativity at home. Frank was born on the Feast of St. Francis, The Patron Saint of Animals.

Frank and Laurie were supporters of the North American Wolf Foundation. They shared their love with their three German Shephards, Luke, Sabbath & Bear with fond memories.

Frank loved the outdoors. Whether mountain climbing, trail walking, or being at the water, he found it brought him peace.

Frank's soul was beautiful, his mind was witty and mischevious. Franks ability to put a spin on his creative stories will surely keep everyone he meets entertained.

If you ever heard Frank ask "Where's the money you owe me?", please consider responding with a donation to the ASPCA in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St, Rockland on Wednesday, May 3rd from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 4th @ 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St, Rockland

Always had the best hot dogs cooked on their grill at Trick or Treat on the front steps. When I finished walking around with my sons I always stopped for a couple 0f d0gs and beer. A good guy , god bless him & the family.

shocked and saddened to hear of Frank's passing!!....I worked briefly with him many years ago. His low keyed and easy going nature was a breath of fresh air in that environment. Laurie.....very sorry for your loss!!
