To the Bono Family, I knew Mr. Bono as a student at Broad Meadows Junior High in the late 1960's. He was a man of tremendous talent and patience. He believed in me and helped me learn the bassoon and encouraged me to sing while I was a member of the choir. I never did much after that with respect to music but I still have fond memories of Mr. Bono, it was his passion for what he did that stayed with me all these years. The world has lost a great person and influencer of young people. God Bless George Sutherland (Plainville MA)

To the Bono Family, I recall your father fondly and with humor, I could not master the clarinet, but he was extremely patient with me and made it fun
