Obituary For Frank Donohue
Frank R Donohue Sr, 85, of Hingham, Ma, passed awaypeacefully on February 22, 2024.
He was born on December 5, 1938 to James and Ada Donohue in Boston, MA
Frank graduated from Boston Technical High School in 1956.
He served in The 1St Army division, 86th Engineers from 1962-1964.
He worked as a Computer Programmer with Colonial Provision. He then became a self employed painter, andworked for Home Depot for several years to Retirement.
Sadly, Frank was predeceased by his parents, James and AdaDonohue and step son, James Norton.
Frank is survived by his wife , Judy Donohue, His children, Frank Donohue Jr and his wife Linda. Kimberly Bertolino and her husband Chris. John Norton and his wife Lori. His sister, Dorothy Macphadden and brother, James Donohue. Also, his grandchildren, Jenna and Nicholas Donohue and Katie and Sara Norton.
Frank was a wonderful and devoted father, husband and Grandfather. He was an avid Boston sports fan, (He especiallyloved The Boston Bruins) Everyone knew him for his kind character and selfless manner. He was always making people laugh (If he called you a shmultzy, don’t take it personally) What he loved most was spending time with family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27th from 4-7 pm at Magoun-Biggins Funeral home in Rockland. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28th at 11am. Frank will be laid to rest at Spring Lake Cemetery in Rockland.
