EASTON KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 238
IN MEMORIAM TO FRANK W are here to celebrate our brother knight coming to the fullness of his life. In thee the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen It is a normal human reaction to be sorrowful and to lament the death of someone very dear to us. This sorrow is changed to a special joy when death is understood as the beginning of life with God. Our savior reversed the sequence from birth to death. He showed us that the seed must die before the flower can grow. So it is with us. We must die to attain the ultimate purpose of God's creation. At the first moment of existence God left his signature on Frank and on all of us. He now claims Frank as his own. Frank Lives. He lives with God. These are the words of Jesus from the Gospel of Matthew: How happy are the poor in spirit; Theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Happy are the gentle; They shall have the earth for their heritage. Happy are those who mourn; They shall be comforted. Happy are those who hunger and thirst for what is right; They shall be satisfied. Happy are the merciful; They shall have mercy shown them. Happy are the pure of heart; They shall see God. Happy are the peacemakers; They sall be called the children of God. Happy are those who are persecuted in the cause of right; Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Lord our brother Frank heeded your words. Welcome him back to you. Frank will be in our thoughts and prayers along with all of his family. EASTON KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 238
