Obituary For Frances M. Muncey

Frances M. (McKeagney) Muncey, 87of Rockland, died on June 10, 2016 at the Alliance Healthcare Facility in Braintree. She was born in Quincy, Daughter of the late Peter, and Catherine (Maloney) McKeagney, and was raised and educated in Quincy. Formerly of Holbrook Frances had lived in Rockland since November of 2015.

Mrs. Muncey enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, and family gatherings. Fran was known for her quick wit and sense of humor.

Frances was the Wife of the late Gerald Muncey. Mother of, Janice F. Strickland of Whitman, Leslie A. Tusi of Brockton, Christine L. Muncey of Rockland, Geraldine M Muncey of Rockland, and the late Thomas P. Muncey. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.

The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate her life on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Burial will take place in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday June 17, at 11:30 AM. For directions or additional information, please visit www.magounbiggins.com

    I had the pleasure of working with Fran at Quincy Medical Center. She was a wonderful coworker and friend. She was efficient at her job and always had a pleasant demeanor. She loved her family and was very proud of them .I will miss her and pray her family knows how much she was loved in her work place.
