Frances A. Benson, of Norwell December 14, 2006, Age 83. Widow of Arnold H. Benson. Mother of Arnold HW Benson of ME and Karen Anne Simpson of Norwell. Grandmother of Richard W. Simpson of Rockland and Tracy Benson of ME . Also survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. A Memorial Service was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND Monday, December 18th at 11:30 AM. Calling hours will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial in Washington Street Cemetery in Norwell will be private. Frances died Thursday in the Quincy Medical Center after a period of failing health. She was born in Medford daughter of the late Lorna M. (Walton) and Joseph Tantillo. Mrs. Benson was raised and educated in Norwell and Quincy and had lived the past 58 years in Norwell. Frances worked for many years for the Norwell public schools in the cafeteria. She loved animals, crafts, knitting, crocheting and especially yard sales.
