Obituary For Flora Caron

Flora (Cedrone) Caron "Flo", 94 of Rockland died on August 29, 2016 at the Southwood at Norwell Nursing Facility. She was born in Quincy, Daughter of the late Carmine and Donata (Quintiliani) Cedrone. She was raised and educated in Quincy, and was a long time Rockland resident. Flo worked for many years at The Holy Family School Thrift Shop in Rockland. She also preciously had worked for the Patriot Ledger. Flo loved bingo, coloring, and visiting with her friends at her favorite coffee shop, Anita Marie's in Rockland. She especially enjoyed visiting her Daughter in North Carolina, and spending time with her Grandson Dakota. Mrs. Caron was the Wife of the late Robert Caron. Mother of Leslie Tewell and her Husband Tom of NC. Grandmother of Dakota Tewell of NC. She was the sister of her late 16 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews The Caron family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate Flo's life on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 2, 2016 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Southwood at Norwell Nursing Center, and the South Shore Hospice, for the gentle care that they provided to Flo, and her family.
