While I haven't seen Evelyn for many years, I have lovely memories of her. Evelyn lit up the room when she arrived - you knew something good was about to happen. She was a woman of action! My deepest sympathy to you all. Note: Evelyn and my mother, Ruth Mitchell, were good friends and shared a love of church music.

Nana, we were all so lucky to have you in our lives for such a long time. We will miss your funny stories, your spunky personality, and your smiling face. You showed us by example how to live life so we enjoy it, and not to take any crap from anybody! We will miss you Nana!
