I have many happy memories of spending overnights and visiting with both she and Uncle Dom when I was a child. She always made me feel welcome and made my visits with her fun. She was truly a special woman a woman, one who spoke her mind and loved her family. I had great respected for her and I know my Mom thought very highly of her, and loved her, as a sister. She will be missed but remembered by many. Sincerely, Mary Alice

Our deepest sympathy to Dom and the Family. It is hard to realize why God takes away those we need the most. Mom will miss her phone conversations with Eva's laughter, but most of all her words of saying it like it is. She never held back what she thought and made sure she had the last word. Most of all the memories of the trips to Florida, all the fun they had, Dom fishing in the small pool of water in the yard and picking oranges from the trees. God Bless our Dear Friend and thanks for the memories. Chris, Tony, Catherine, Jim and Joe Muscato

I was so blessed to have has Eva in my life. She was always so good to me. I will always treasure dinners at her house as she yelled at everyone to eat! And even if you were bursting out of your pants you HAD to eat more because she stared you down until you did! My boys had the greatest "great" grandmother. They cherised her. We will miss her dearly. She was definitely the light of the DelPrete family. Forever in our hearts, Stacie, Kevin & Alex

Eva and Dom were very dear friends to us here on the Cape. Our hearts go out to Dom, Giselda, Michael and Stephen. May He hold you all in the palm of His hand. Blessings Bette & Bob Silva

Our sincere condolences go out to the Del Prete family members. Eva was a wonderful friend and neighbor. She always met you with a warm smile and a warmer hug. Her table was laden with a wide assortment of what she called "pickings", enough to feed a whole army! She never complained about her troubles, but always had a comic dig at Dominic, the love of her life. She bound the neighborhood together and we all will miss her a lot. Jacqui and Lee Michelove

Dear Michael, Stephen and Giselda, Doing some exploring today as I sit in our wee Pembroke summer cottage as it pours with rain.....and find not only your Dad gone, but Mom too. What wonderful ages they reached...and best of all had each other and you had them for so long. Such nice people and great neighbors. My folks really enjoyed them. Giselda....I still say 'chicknah' for chicken....that's how you pronounced it as a little one! Please accept my VERY belated sympathies, Christine
