Ernie.....I love you so very much....you have been a part of my life since I was a young girl. You were a brother to me. I always looked up to you, and always strived to make you proud of me. You seemed to bring that out in everyone...we all wanted to make you proud. You were a very proud man! You were a man of strength, courage, and could sense a broken heart a mile away. You were a man with such presence! A man of strong words, to tell it...like it was! A lifetime of memories, I will hold onto...our talks..our laughs.. our tears...our stories...our poems...our time as family together. I will keep Jane close and show her your strength. I will always speak your name, and keep your memory alive with your youngest Grandchildren. I will treasure you always Ernie...you will be forever in my heart, and never...never,,,forgotten. I miss you this minute........and will miss you forever. Love...Peace....and blessings......."Your messenger girl"...........

I work at Compass Medical in East Bridgewater in the Lab. Ernest would come into the lab almost every other week and have his blood drawn. His was always very friendly and patient waiting for his turn. I will miss seeing him. Janet LaRosa

I looked forward every July 4th to seeing Ernie in the gazebo with Uncle Danny at Kathleen's cookout. I loved to see him, he had a twinkle in his eye and looked at me with a grin and I always knew he was thinking that's Dolores' daughter. I am so glad to have given Ernie a bottle of our wine this year. He waited in the heat for my husband Mike to go get it and that was the first time I knew Ernie had a hard time breathing. I have a special poem Ernie wrote for me in Oct 1978 when my friend died. "What is death but parting breath of one sweet flower we did know." I have had that piece of paper for 33 years now and it has given me comfort many times and especially now. We will miss you Ernie and I know my Uncle Danny is broken-hearted. Love, AnnMarie Affleck Crosby

My friendship started with him and Jane many years ago. Ernie was a great man, husband and a father and when the grandchildren arrived he was in his glory loved spending time with them. Ernie had the best tomato garden and the hot peppers,he would play around and rub some on my glass of water or pepsi and they were hot hot hot !!! I loved Ernie and will miss him dearly and the fond memories we had back in the day. To the family Im sending my love and GOD BLESS ALL.. RIP My friend
