Obituary For Eric J. Brown

Eric Jason Brown, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2022 at the age of 52. He is survived by his wife Patricia Brown, mother Sharon Brown, and sister Michelle Brown. He is predeceased by his father, James E. Brown. Eric will be sadly missed by his 5 children Bobby, Chris, Jeremy, Rebecca, and Kaitlyn. Cherished “Papa” to 8 grandchildren, a nephew and a niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Eric grew up in Whitman, MA and lived in Brockton, Weymouth, and most recently Rockland. A gentle giant with a big heart, he loved rock music, muscle cars and Nascar. An animal lover, you could often catch him reminiscing about his favorite dog, Potter. He took pride in his work. He was loving, caring, non-judgemental and was looking forward to welcoming his 9th grandchild early next year.

Eric was loved by many; a devoted husband, father and son with a large circle of friends and family who will miss him deeply.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to say goodbye to Eric on November 1, 2022 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland, Mass. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 1 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist the family with expenses:
